Discipleship in Portugal: Help train and disciple local believers in Lisbon, Portugal.  

Join an experienced team in Lisbon, Portugal as they seek to reach out to the locals where less than 1% of the population is evangelical. Their vision is to train up Portuguese nationals into positions of leadership – into discipleship, evangelism, pastoring, and church planting.

1. Church Planting: Be part of the church planting team, headed up by national leadership, with the view to plant culturally relevant churches that are grounded in the Word of God and that seek, in turn, to plant additional churches.

2. Discipleship based ministry: Be involved in encouraging and discipling believers in a Portuguese evangelical church (or group of churches), with the view to: training up Portuguese believers to be involved in the ministry, and being involved in the development and/or oversight of a discipling programme on a larger scale.

3. Theological Education: Work as part of a team at the Portuguese Bible Institute (PBI), teaching at either the undergraduate or post-graduate level, and contributing to the running of the institute in the areas of administration, technology, finance, public relations or academics.

All applicants must be willing to learn the Portuguese language and culture, be willing to work alongside Portuguese Christians, and have completed theological training.
